About me

Hi! I’m Thomas Dunk, a professional drummer and educator with over 15 years of experience behind the kit.

I hold a First-Class degree in Music Performance from LCCM, a Trinity Diploma in Drum Kit, and finished my Grade 8 in Drums in 2021.

As a session musician based in London, I’ve performed at venues like Ronnie Scott’s, Troxy, the London Jazz Festival, Moth Club, Soho House, and Y Not Festival, working with a wide range of artists across different styles.

I am DBS checked and NSPCC Child Protection for Tutors certified, so parents can feel assured that lessons take place in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Both! I’m experienced in helping students pass their Rockschool and Trinity drum exams. I don’t force students to do exams, so if that’s not your thing, no problem.

  • Of course! I can teach online lessons via zoom or any other video calling platform. Make sure your setup allows for me to see and hear you clearly, and you’re good to go.

  • I am capable of teaching from complete beginners all the way up to advanced players. Whatever your age, skill level, or experience, I curate lessons that tailor to your specific needs and goals!
